Our Founder's Heart
New Hats For Veterans was started by Michael Pendergrass, a proud supporter of our nation’s veterans and a community servant at heart.
Michael served on the local fire dept. for 17 years, dedicating his life to helping others. He was never in the military, but he comes from a family of dedicated military veterans and has always believed in the importance of honoring those who were willing to sacrifice everything so we may enjoy our freedom.
His passion, humility, and unwavering commitment to our veterans laid the foundation for New Hats For Vets.
Michael would be the first to say this mission isn't about him - it's about the veterans we serve and the community behind them.
